ProfileHelper
ProfileHelper (Eric Resnick)
One of the oldest dating-profile-writing services, run by a named writer with a published price ladder that climbs from a $39.95 DIY course to a $1,000 concierge package.
What ProfileHelper costs
Observed 2026-06-08. Where a price is gated, dated or only reported second-hand we say so — we never guess.
| What you pay for | Price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| DIY Profile-Writing Academy A masterclass + questionnaire + a phone consult — the cheapest, do-it-yourself route. | $39.95 | source |
| Personal Online Dating Coach A one-hour private consultation (no written profile). | $99.00 | source |
| Essay-Based Profile Creation Profile written from your questionnaire answers + two headlines. | $99.95 | source |
| Premium Profile Creation Adds a 60-minute consult + a customised dating strategy. | $199.95 | source |
| VIP (with Eric Resnick) 90–120 min with Resnick, 48-hour turnaround, unlimited revisions, lifetime photo reviews. | $400.00 | source |
| Platinum Concierge 24-hour completion, two extra coaching sessions and ongoing text access to Resnick. | $1,000.00 | source |
How it works: You complete an essay-style questionnaire (or a phone consultation on higher tiers) and they write your profile and headlines for your chosen app/site. Tiers add coaching, first-message help, photo reviews and, at the top, ongoing text access to Resnick.
What you get — and the proof
testimonials onlyThe question that matters most for a profile service: what’s actually delivered, and can they show it works?
What’s included
- A written profile + two custom headlines
- Coaching / strategy consultation (60 min and up on paid tiers)
- Photo review and first-message guidance on higher tiers
- Unlimited revisions (VIP+) and ongoing text access (Platinum)
Turnaround: 48 hours (VIP) to 24 hours (Platinum)
Results guarantee
A craft guarantee — “your profile is not complete until you love it” (unlimited revisions on VIP+) — but no guarantee of matches or dates.
The proof: Testimonials only
Evidenced by a long track record (“40,000+ clients since 2005”) and testimonials — a self-reported volume figure, not a measured before/after outcome.
Claims vs evidence
What it promises — and whether anything backs it up.
“A professionally written profile gets you better online-dating results”
ContestedA real human writer with two decades of experience is a genuine service, and a sharper profile can help. But the “better results” is supported by client volume and testimonials, not a controlled before/after match-rate study.

Flags
Red = a serious, documented issue · amber = a pricing / funnel / evidence concern · green = something notably honest (a published rate-card, a frank “no guarantee”, real photos of the real you, a real guarantee).

Published, tiered pricing
Every tier from $39.95 to $1,000 is listed openly with what it includes — no “enquire for pricing” gate.

A named writer with a long track record
Run by Eric Resnick since 2005 — accountability and longevity that most services in this space can’t show.

A steep upsell ladder to $1,000
The same core deliverable (a written profile) ranges from a $99.95 essay version up to a $1,000 “Platinum Concierge” — most of the price buys access and speed, not a fundamentally different profile.
source - 🟡
A “$99.95 value” free-profile anchor
Higher tiers bundle a “free” app profile pitched as a $99.95 value — a price-anchoring cue rather than added substance.

Proof is volume + testimonials
The case for it working rests on “40,000+ clients” and quotes, not a measured outcome study.

Who's behind ProfileHelper?
Founded by Eric Resnick and operating since 2005; the site says it has worked with 40,000+ clients. Pricing is published openly across the tiers, and the top tiers are written/delivered personally by Resnick.
The verdict
A real, named, long-established profile writer who publishes his prices — all of which counts for a lot in a space full of anonymous funnels. The honest read: the writing is a genuine craft and the cheaper tiers ($39.95–$99.95) are fair, but the ladder to a $1,000 concierge package mostly buys speed and access to Resnick, and the “it works” case is testimonials and client count, not measured results. Buy the tier that matches what you actually need, not the one that anchors it.
Same lens, the whole industry
We decode dating apps, coaches, matchmakers, courses, AI tools and profile services the same way — what it costs, who's behind it, and what the claims are worth. No affiliate money, anywhere.
Keep digging
We take no money from ProfileHelper (Eric Resnick) or any profile service, and we run none of their affiliate links. Figures observed 2026-06-08from the service's own pricing/services page or a clearly-flagged secondary review; gated prices are recorded as gated, never guessed. See methodology.
